The Competition

The Awards Ceremony

The highlight of the My Family Story program and the Manuel Hirsch Grosskopf International Competition is the final ceremony held annually in June.

The final ceremony, held each year at Beit Hatfutsot, is a unique opportunity for participating students to get to know one another, display their works and invite their friends and family to share in the celebration of their work.

All finalists will have their works displayed on exhibition at Beit Hatfutsot, the Museum of the Jewish People. The exhibition will launch on the day of the final ceremony and be open to the public for one month.

International Gathering
“Ilan and his Friends” – On the day of the ceremony (in June), Beit Hatfutsot invites all participants in the International Competition from Israel and around the world to participate in an educational and experiential gathering. The winning finalists will get a FREE flying ticket to Israel (accommodation in Israel is the responsibility of the participant). These activities will allow students who researched their family history from different sides of the world to come together and participate in activities especially designed for them.
